    So are we as veterinarians and veterinary staff eligible for vaccinations or not? The emails I have received say no this thread at the top says yes then turns to no. I have friends that live in nys but a different county and they already got their vaccine and said they are eligible . So I guess which is it?

    I would like to know the answer to this as well, I know of other veterinarians who are clicking through to get an appointment under the "other" health worker category. I figured they would be turned back at the vaccination site, since supposedly you have to provide proof of occupation and the info given here indicates that we are not truly eligible.

    There seems to be a lack of uniformity in the vaccine rollout.
    whenever we ask officially, we are told veterinarians are not eligible, and that the counties are required to follow this decision.
    But we are also hearing reports of counties and individual vaccination sites that are vaccinating veterinarians
