This program has been approved for 1 hour of continuing education credit for veterinarians and veterinary technicians in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.

RACE approval for this program expires on 04/08/2021. Programs are approved for two years. In order to provide up-to-date instruction and quality of content, at the end of the RACE approval period, programs are reviewed by VetBloom and the subject matter experts and may be submitted to RACE for renewal of approval.

Summary: This lecture includes a discussion on the biomechanics of the TPLO technique. Attendees will learn about pre-operative radiographs, planning, and implant selection. Attendees will also gain an understanding of patient assessment and the selection of candidates for TPLO.
